Here you will learn all the basics on how you can create your own characters and animations with Anima2D, in the first video we cover how to set up the sprites and project, we the move onto creating the body meshes and, last but very important, we create the skeleton and make him move!

I hope you find this useful.

Hello,
I’m learning anima 2d with characters that have a front view, a 3/4 view and a back view. I apply to them different animations, for example, the front view talks, the 3/4 view walks, etc. But I have them all is different game objects, and I’m asked to put them all together in the same game object so we can do the transitions from one to the other. Do you know any way to do this? Or where I can look for workflow on how to do it?

Thanks in advance!

    Hi Carla!

I will try my best to offer a good solution. However, I may need more details. Do all the character versions use the same bone structure? If so, you can get away with using “Skins” with my AnimaSkin asset (More info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=09To3ZCIZUY). Otherwise, if you need to have 3 “different” character objects and put them all in one, do you plan to transition between them with the animator through an animation?

    Best regards,
    Sergio.
